← Glossary of termsThe percentage share of the plot area that may be built over or covered by the building. It limits the building's footprint on the plot and, together with setbacks, determines the actual space available for building. In Croatia the same ratio is the koeficijent izgrađenosti (kig), measured on the building's vertical projection without balconies; in Poland it is the wskaźnik powierzchni zabudowy.
