← Glossary of termsThe ratio between the permitted gross floor area of all storeys and the area of the plot. It limits the total size of the building and is one of the fundamental parameters in spatial planning documents. In Croatia the same ratio is the koeficijent iskoristivosti (kis), worked out from GBP, and a plan may also cap the above-ground part alone (kisn); in Poland it is the wskaźnik intensywności zabudowy, worked out from the total floor area (Pc).
